Traktor Mapping for MF3D
I’m looking for a specific mapping for the MF3D for Traktor. Is there a mapping that is specifically for use of the remix decks? Meaning: Load a remix pack into all four decks, then each bank on the MF controls one of the decks. Like, you can switch in between decks and packs while having multiple packs going at once. Does that make sense? Is there something like that out there? How hard would it be to make it if I had to?
It’s something my BASE Traktor mapping does… I’m currently focused on a FX mapping for a 3D but I’ll be glad to build something like this afterwards.

Ohhhh. I didn’t realize BASE was a controller. Haha! My bad. Yeah man if u could make a mapping for the MF3D that would be great. I’m sure that’s alot easier said than done. Is it hard to make a mapping? Or is it pretty easy to learn?
The concept behind that mapping is to use ‘Deck Focus’ feature for your bank buttons and then assign all the remix deck commands to correspond to deck which is in the focus/target.
You can also map the Midifighter internal banks and make each to correspond to one deck in Traktor but the first method seems a lot faster.
I think this is nice idea! Noted for 3D.
PS. Do you want only 4 sets of 16 samples or do you wish a full Remix Deck potential such as my BASE mapping?
See if u can make it to where u can control a full remix deck on each of the banks. It’ll definitely be handy for those who cant afford a 64 button MIDI controller or multiple MFs.
