Traktor Pro 1.1 - Now Available

Traktor Pro 1.1 - Now Available

It’s finally here →

http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?t=80498

I see a couple of posts from people claiming that the key lock distortion bug is still present. That can’t be right! I’m going to give it a go during my lunch break.

Correction. It is now version 1.1.1

Sheesh, they keep changing it.

No worries. NI explains the reasoning here →

What’s not right is their servers, so slow.. gee.. you’ld think with 300$+ a pop, they’ld get good bandwidth.. arg

Oh and thanks for the update

LMAO - yeah, I’m actually grabbing it now. Think my turtle just lapped the last fragment of data that came over the Service Center.

For those who are wondering, the update is ~101 MB.

And for the love of Grasso and Theodore, back up up your data folders first!!!

Anyone else has their Service Center restarting, self-updating, restarting, self-updating, etc…? Could it be caused by the bandwidth overload? Any other way to update Traktor?

Someone else reported that in the NI forums this week. Probably a good idea to just go run a search over there.

The other way to get updates is to log directly onto NI’s support page where they have the restricted downloads for customers. You use the same credentials to log into that page as you do for the Service Center.

Well, after 10+ restarts, it went through, just like the guy says on NI forums… weird stuff! :stuck_out_tongue:

just got it!:sunglasses:

Like the 10% pitch.
I think they did not fix the release date issue.:rage:

hm, i installed update without restarts  just in service center i clicked download update, after it i clicked install and its all  like pitch woot

Hurrrraaaay! Can’t wait to get home and update!

The Tempo Bend message is still worthless. Still can’t map it to a CC, and it’s still a set interval. Only now, at 100% (the default setting) it’s bending the song by 1.5%, and at full (200%) it’s bending it by 3.1%. Note, 100% is the same as the message was before the update - so they wasted half of that slider so users could make the Tempo Bend message MORE worthless than it was before.

Weaksauce. I am non-plussed.

SO the latest over on the NI forums are that (for most) the sound quality is vastly improved and that the key lock problem is a thing of the past.

In the 3 minutes that I have played with it, I set my KL Quality to Hi and have not noticed any distortion.

Can’t wait to get a couple of hours in.

hopefully this stops my pro from freezing every time i touch any effects  tho i think that might be firmware related

No longer a need to double-assign load and sync functions? →
synchro start means that traktor keeps the sync button on, even when loading a new track, in 1.0.2 the sync button went off when loading a track

so its more a combination of “load” and “sync”

Initial thoughts of it is a much more stable experience IMO.

I don’t get a crash log everytime I exit the application and things seem to be working better. I also notice a more deep, rich sound. Color me happy for now…

anyone try the 14 bit midi with a VCI-300 or Reloop yet>?

Hoped you did that, just send my vci-300 back again, some jog issues :rage:

Finally, have to give it a go when the download is finished.

i already installed it, and it sounds the same, feels the same, but my problem is what the hell is going on with the CUP! I need my classic play/cue & cue/pause (w/o hack)
