Traktor Pro 2.5.1 available now!

Check your Service Center for updates and grab it while it’s hot.

THANK THE (developers of traktor) LORD.

is it more stable than 2.5

Cool. Been waiting for this. Still running 2.1.1

Still on 2.0.3 - curious if the lag on jogwheel bug has been fixed when in user mode.

still no map commands for the remix decks…staying with 2.1.2

2.5.1 seemed to jack my ability to toggle between midi and HID on the MF3d. Controls are way off even with reloading.

So you won’t upgrate because you can’t use a fuction you can’t you in 2.1.2 anyway
It is posible to use the remix decks just a the sample decks in 2.1.2

Remember to give the update a THOROUGH thrashing for at least 4 hours before you start bitching about bugs and crashes

Yep. And test this for a day or more before you take it out to a gig, please.

downloading it now.

It didn’t act the same. I have the sample section of my DDM4000 to control the sample decks. When I tried it with the remix decks I had to hit each button twice for the sample to play. Hit it once and the sample would play then I would have to hit it again to reset it. That alone was annoying and just seeing all these sample slots on my screen that I can’t access without using the mouse was even more annoying so I went back to 2.1.2 and I will stick with that until NI releases the midi commands for the remix decks.

The update is not showing up on my service center

You’ll have to log in.

Is there any backing up I need to do before updating?

You should probably manually backup anyway at least your collection file but Traktor keeps an old version by itself.

running some tests now

I can understand that. But I mapped my Radius 3000 4 hotcue buttons and whit mapping some contitions to the buttons after I had sample loaded or captured from deck they worked as play/stop. and you don’t need to have all 16 sample slots visible on screen.
But then again if your happy with 2.1.2 then stay with it  if it aint broken…

whats the verdict ladies?

I played with it for about an hour and it seemed stable. I do have a problem with my X1 mapping getting messed up, but that came before this update.

A lot of good stuff fixed in 2.5.1. Good work NI.
