Service Center adds some extra details

Does it fix that massive bug on multicore processors?

iTunes
various improvements != two improvements, what else they improved?

i knew NI wasnt going to let us down for NAMM!

Yep, you really start to wonder who is in charge of marketing these days with NI, next mail i get is from serato.

Serato DJ Club Kit & Hardware Support
Seems only a bit of a expensive update, and the whole djm900srt serato mixer is now a joke.

NI never really indulge in big glitzy events anymore, so it’s no surprise.

I know, but it seems a bit strange to do it together with all namm news.

Some observations:

  1. Update/install was way quicker than it has been in the past.
  2. Restart required.
  3. DPI scaling still not fixed, but I think this only affects dual monitor users so it’s probably very low priority for them.
  4. My Z1 required a firmware update in order to work with this update, Traktor sends you to a browser link, then you unzip and install. You don’t have to exit Traktor to do this. Gave me an error message and then installed. Not sure what happened, but whatever.
  5. Library “flicker” seems to have been greatly reduced. This was a huge annoyance for me with 2.7.2.
  6. I had previously disabled multicore support. After the update, I found it was enabled. What were the specific problems with multicore procs? I can’t remember.

I’m on Win 8.1.

So far, so good.

I just upgraded Traktor on my laptop with Win 8.1 and so far so good

Im still getting problems with windows 7 with the multi-core enabled. When i use filters and effects the track distorts pretty bad :/. i Cant believe NI still hasnt fixed that.

Jester does not want improvements/new features. Jester want less bugzzzzz

Why does it take 3 times longer to install via service center then with a separete setup… Multi-core support issue has been around for ages… I guess it is more difficult to fix this then release a bunch of new controller, keyboards.

I can never get it to update Traktor through service center. I manually install every time. The update just isn’t listed. Does anyone have similar issues?

Probably late to the game, but did NI ever release a statement saying 2.7.2 and now 2.7.3 was running as it should be with OS Yosemite or is it still just in an update (the OS) yourself and see how it works with the newest Traktor updates that they have recently released? I prefer to wait until I get the all clear before updating so was just wondering if I missed something.

They said their was some problems with some specific other third party drivers. I believe avid’s drivers was on that list

Mac user here..
Thought and hoped the update to 2.7.3 would also get rid of the freeze on save after using the remix decks but no…

It still freezes without saving anything. Have to force closing it every damn time I used remix decks.

The only reason I’m not already on Serato is my mc6000 mk1 which is not compatible with Serato..

Has anyone else experienced issues with controls changed by mouse?
I’m running 2.7.2 on windows 7, and most of my mixer controls seriously glitch out or get stuck when clicked on. I’ve never noticed any issue like this till the last update.

Guess it can’t hurt to update though…
Oh wait it’s NI, I would be much better off downgrading.

Interesting, I run dual monitors, and say I drag Traktor from one to the next, I get this issue where it wont respond to mouse input on the On Screen Mixer.

I just tested that out and can confirm it.

I’m seriously thinking about going back to 2.6.8.

They’re just creating more and more problems with each version of 2.7.x

Edit: I just realized I probably can’t go back to 2.6.8…I had to flash the firmware on my Z1 for 2.7.3…

I’m probably stuck with it.
