traktor pro 2 upgrade
sorry if this has been answered already but i couldnt find any threads about it
so i finally got an s4 yesterday but it came with traktor pro
im just wondering how i upgrade it to traktor pro 2

You are supposed to get an e-mail with the voucher after you register (don’t know how fast it this for new units), if you don’t get anything in a couple of days open a ticket at NI’s page.

You jammy git! I’m still waiting for my email. Yes I’ve checked my spam, yes I’ve emailed NI registration ticket thingie and for the last two days I’ve been trying to call there Berlin registration/technical support line only to get an automated “sorry we can’t take your call right now” message, which is most probably costing me a fortune! I’ve owned my S4 since xmas and I also own TSP, but NI seem to not wanna spread the T2 love in my direction.
Try their US number.
Ok that was a little bit creepy! I was half way thru typing a mini rant, moaning about having to spend more money on phoning the states, thinking I should of just bought the upgrade considering the phone calls to Berlin and taking friday off work and as if by magic the timely beep of my email inbox with a message titled “Your free upgrade to TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO 2”

Finally all’s golden here as well. 
damn guys im feelin really left out… luckily between work and school right now i dont have alot of spare time to hit the decks but im sure if my email vouture came through i could make some time 
every day i just patiently wait…maybe one day ha ha

i‘ve just put my laptop back to factory settings with all traktor software removed. I‘m upgrading to tpro2 with a cd pack.
my question is will i need to reinstall t le,upgrade to t pro and then upgrade again to tpro2?
Or can i just use the tpro2 upgrade? service centre should see that my account has previous versions right?
Bit difficult to explain clearly. hope you understand and help.

I’ve never done this, but I think Service center should see the other versions.
Previous versions do show in the site so just install T2 (demo or full installer, not an update) and punch in your upgrade serial.

yeah after formatting my laptop I just loaded the upgrade version instead of all the previous versions and it worked.
strangely service centre did not show my other versions, but I guess my NI account has them registered.
so far it works great.
still have not put my all my tunes back on my laptop so have not concentrated at all on beatgridding.
been playing around with the supplied samples and sample banks and mappings.
have not had this much fun since I first started djing!
