Traktor Pro not recognising Kontrol One

Hi all, new on here…
i did have a search for this but no joy…
Im running Mac 10.11.6 El Capitan, Traktor Pro 2.10.0.13. Got a new DJTech Kontrol One connected to usb on the mac (tried both ports) but I cannot get traktor to map any of it, either manually or via various downloaded .tsi files. When i plug the K1 in, i get no illumination, almost like the mac doesn’t recognise it either. Its set to usb power as i don’t currently have a dc power supply for it.

Once the mapping is imported you have to select your controller under MIDI in-port and out-port.

Could this be it?

thanks but once Ive selected the mapping, the device does not appear in the drop down menu… :confused:

This could be a driver issue then. Have you already tried to reinstall driver and OS?

Also, try out some other DJ software or some of midi monitor apps such as MIDI-OX to see if they can recognize the unit and receive midi at all.
