Using Traktor S4 and Pioneer DJM 900 together

Hi All,

I currently DJ with the S4 but am starting to play out at bars/clubs more that have modular setups with professional mixers and CDJs. Is it possible to use an external mixer (like the pioneer DJM 900 nexus) with the jogwheels of my S4 for practice at home until I can scrounge up enough money to get CDJs?

Yes, you can have a temporary setup like that. The DJM would act as your sound card and as an external mixer, while the S4 would be your transport and FX control.

You might also want to consider swapping your S4 out for an X1 which pairs nicely with an external mixer.
