Virtual DJ [any version that can play Karaoke MP3+G and output in full screen]
I need a legit version of Virtual DJ that must be able to play karaoke MP3s and video in full screen to a projector.
I dont know much about VDJ but I do know some versions cannot play karaoke files or output in full screen mode to a projector.
I dont care what version it is. I just dont wanna pony up £300 for VDJ7 when I might only use it once a month.
Anyone got one to sell.
I Have the pro version and recently switched over to Traktor.

Just looked it up online. Re selling Virtual dj is illegal. Sorry mate you are going to have to pay full price for the software on there website.
the cheapest way to get the full version is to use an LE upgrade from a Mixtrack Pro, Hercules RMX, Reloop TM2/4, Stanton DJC.4 et. al. It’s usually $150 to upgrade the serial.. other controllers without soundcards and cheaper ones generally cost $200 to upgrade… Note that even if the other user has registered their LE serial you can still use it to upgrade and you will get a brand new serial that you can keep for yourself without affecting the LE registration.
VDJ Pro Basic offers everything accept external hardware control and full screen video so it’s not suitable for your needs.
What kind of bollocks is this “cant sell it”… Thats nonsense. I understand if its Educational but you cant sell it if you dont use it…???

@synthet1c: My mate just bought a Mixtrack Pro and is using Traktor. I set it all up for her so ill ask if I can have her copy of Virtual LE that came with the controller. I guess I install it, register it and then upgrade to Pro..? Or do I just need the LE Serial number to get the discount and download..?
I should just ask a guy on my club chain forum for some discount he works for VDJ but I hate it when people ask me for NI discount (like i can get it for others) so i wont ask him.

EDIT: actually I think her Mixtrack Pro came with Traktor LE not VDJ LE.
So if any version of VDJ LE, and no matter if its already used gets you the discount, do I just need an LE serial number off someone?

yeah you can use any LE serial number and yes you have to use the LE serial to get the upgrade, from then LE registration is still valid but you will receive a new pro serial for you to register so it will be in your name alone and you will be able to download anything from the forum including updates, plugins, video effects etc… The serial can only be used once though

I tried to find the EULA but couldn’t. Is the serial transferrable from one laptop to another. I may trial it on my backup mac before I put it on my gig Mac. Whats the deal here dude?
Do I uninstall it and reinstall on another machine. What about back up machines?
Again, im surprised at how VDJ is locked down. I never hear anyone complaining about this yet people p*ss and moan about NI only allowing 2 installations (1 in use).
Can I have one serial used on 2 laptops as long as I only use one at a time?

there is no limit in honesty, but the EULA states that you may have VDJ Pro installed on only 2 computers at one time, but there is no formal restriction stopping you from having it installed on more than two computers if you need.
You will also get both the Mac and PC versions available for download forever as the registration will never expire. The EULA is actually pretty hard to find, but google came up trumps.

Looks like a goer. The serial number worked fine and I can get PRO for £99 which great. I still think its expensive software but the video/karaoke features look pretty good, better than I expected.
So ill be a Virtual DJ user very soon.

Sorry dude, just for clarity. I do NOT need to have LE installed. I get a new download of the full PRO installer when I process the LE serial number.

Its not gonna look for a preinstallation of LE is it.
VDJ’s the shit… but only really on PC as you get the power of VST’s, although the new parametric eq sounds great. not sure if you can install Freeframe video plugins on Mac but you certainly can on PC which will add a lot of power to your video sets. There is a mapping for your S4 in the plugins section of the forum, but you may need to tweek it to suit video/karaoke. If you need a hand with customising anything on your controller just give me a holla 
Nope, just install Pro and you will be good to go.. The first thing you need to do is download the mapper if your using an S4 and set up your sound in the config menu.

Not planning on using the S4 at the moment as its just gonna be karaoke stuff. Laptop into a 10 channel mixer, output video to a projector but… down the line I wil definitely have a go at video mixing and I give the S4 mapping a go.

if it’s just karaoke I highly suggest you use a PC as you can run a compressor and reverb on the voice to make the singers sound more like a recorded voice. to add effects just map the deck you aren’t using with
linein : activate or deactivate the linein on this deck. You can also specify a linein number to assign another linein: “deck 1 linein 2 on”. Or you can assign the microphone input: “deck 3 linein ‘mic’ on”.

I have to ask cus guys above say it cannot be sold on. I’s there an unregister procedure? Is the software sale legit.
Obviously this is paramount for me. I won’t buy unless I’m 100% its legit cus I will want to register on the forum and receive support and I always use the same forum name and as I’m a Mod for NI and DJTT… well I’m sure you get my drift. I am squeaky clean .
So if you can tell me if the software is unregistered we are in business.
