Whats the Best Headphones i could get for Under £80

i have a max of £80 looking for a new set , not overly keen on second hand headphones , not the biggest of budget but hopefully something half decent can be achieved

thank you

Zomo HD 1200, Numark Redwave, Reloop do some similar as well. If you look at them, pretty sure they are all the same headphone, just with different branding and accessories.

Only issue iv had is the hinge broke on my numarks. They are abou £40-£50 i think

Close to the HDJ-2000s, but for a HELL of a lot less. I wouldn’t recommend them personally for a top-quality listening experience at home, but for DJing use they’re perfect

will certainly look into them , thank you , been looking at some of the lower sennheiser market , like hd 205s hd 215s , would love the hd25s just slightly over budget right now

The reloops do look really nice actually. Think they will be my next set. Although I have a sneaky feeling that mdcdesign is a reloop fan :stuck_out_tongue:

they look very nice , never seen them before

Of course  A large proportion of my current gear is Reloop stuff

I’m pretty new to them as well, only came across them a few months back but I’ve been SO tempted to get myself a pair… as soon as my HAM5Xs give up the ghost, I think I’m going to take the plunge.

Sennheiser HD 280 PROs:

Slightly over budget, but excellent headphones that’ll probably beat anything else around £80

Audio Technica ATH-M50s go on sale in the US for 100 dollars.

I don’t know if you can get that kind of a deal in the UK?

I’ve got a pair of reloops as my back up pair and must admit they are mighty good I was quite surprised!!! I only got a pair of pioneer HDJ-500s (£80) because they had a teeny bit more bass!!

You’ll get a million more answers using search - but I’ll say the Sony MDR-V6 is the best bang for buck headphone under $100 IMHO - tried and tested for over 2 decades.

There is a simple method to finding out which headphones are best for YOU.

  • Go to a shop
  • Demo all headphones within budget using 3 tracks you know exactly how they should sound
  • Pick the pair that sounds best to YOU
  • Say thank you Mr. shop assistant I’ll think about it
  • Go home and order headphones online.

The chances of finding any of the recommended headphones in a shop in the UK are slim to none. The only things you see are Beats and other overpriced rubbish.

There’s not many places like said above I could really sample alot of decent headphones , beats and skull candy seems the limit around here ,

Not true, PC world stock a decent range of sennheiser headphones: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/search-keywords/xx_xx_xx_xx_xx/sennheiser+headphones/xx-criteria.html

Never even thought of there , will have to pop up

It’s not the place you would think of going to try out headphones, but the one closest to me is a pretty big store and they have a good variety of headphones out on display to try out.

seems a good price and reviews , and also a set of hd25s for £80

I have only ever used 1 set of headphones, Sennheiser HD205’s, which cost me about the same price as the HD25’s over a year ago, so that’s a good price. And i would not hesitate to recommend Sennheiser headphones, the one’s I have have worked perfectly for me over the past year.

yeah ive read alot of good things about them , some bad but 98% good , so look like a good investment

Admittedly I’m not DJing in mega loud clubs with them, just mobile DJing but they get pretty loud, and they block outside noise pretty well.
