Dream Set-Up

We all have that gear we all drool about having, so I thought it’d be interesting to see what other people daydream about.

Here’s mine:
Denon DN-S3700’s running Midi-Hybrid mode (so they essentially become 10" motorized vinyl midi decks)
Allen & Heath Xone 92 Mixer

2x CDJ-2000 (or, failing that, an X1 (own 2 for some reason), and a the MBP and Duet 2 mentioned below)

A room that makes them sound like they’re supposed to.

Blue Baby Bottle, Woodpecker, and Dragonfly…probably some other mics as well…I’m not that up on them.
And an SM58 to throw at people that piss me off. (can steal one)

(the funny thing is that i have access to a studio with basically all this stuff except that they use Avid interfaces and haven’t upgraded to PT9 yet…and have more mic pres than I know what to do with…and I still really suck at production)

NI Audio 4 + 8 (for laptop A to have 6 stereo outs)

Laptop B: MacBook running Live and Maschine
NI Audio 4 (for laptop B to have 4 mono outs)

And two Technics 1200’s just for funsies

I have my dream setup already (maybe add a XONE:92 or 464.. dunno).

Dream or nightmare that is the question… once all the MIDI mapping will be finished, or have the “Yeah that’s how I like it” stamp on it, I’ll be fine :smiley:
