[Xone:DB4] Whats This?????

[Xone:smiley:B4] Whats This???

Just noticed on decks they have a new Allen & Heath controller listed but with no info…

XONE DB4

Anyone know what it is?

http://www.decks.co.uk/products/allen_heath/Xone_DB4

an S4 Killer?

Overpriced?

A & H need to provide proper LED illumination and usable, more responsive buttons for cue juggling first! Dont get me wrong, i have an A & Heath mixer but thats a main priority for me if i were to buy a new controller.

not alot to go by atm. Mabey some new headphones? I guess … Would be nice to see something like the DX but more generic in terms of not being a dedicated Itch controller

lol

Its listed under the digital controllers section tho…

Maybe its a 52" touch screen - no wait a minute thats fckin ridiculous

Vid or didnt happen!

It’s not overpriced; the page says it will sell for £ 0.00 inc. VAT. Not sure what that is in US dollars though…

No idea either but it probably equates to a Loonie in Canadian money :stuck_out_tongue:
Curious to see what it turns out to be though.

Probably a sex toy

I was thinking to myself “If this is another thread on the emulator, im going to kill myself.” I’m in luck.

my EXACT thoughts

yeah some sex toy with a bpm counter using A&H technology that reacts to the music. includes a rubber coated usb cable with vibrating ferrite core for sending and recieving midi messages.

Still needs LEDs and a 69-bit driver

put a post on the xone forums to see if it triggers some new information.
basically just asking about the new controller… mabey it starts some more investigation from others wondering…
I somehow would like to hold off on the xone DX and see if this mystery device is indeed a 4 deck controller which is more generic than something ITCH specific.
I just hope that it can be used as a regular mixer instead of being stuck with a laptop only

Wait, you don’t already use your setup to, um… uh… Nevermind, maybe that’s just me.

Probably some really expensive controller. Why must your products be so expensive!? I don’t make enough from DJing to justify buying A&H gear…

I think it also could be a mistake on the website

Its a typo, thats just an audio patch bay which can be rack mounted in top of a mixer for modular connectivity with audio sources.

Its on their website if you look.

Thats the end of this thread haha…

Imagine a Deck Box 4?
