AKG K 518DJ is more than decent for both djing and casual listening and it’s only £43.99 at Amazon. I would seriously consider it if I were you

sennheiser hd-25s
i was thinking about them but then i came acroos the v-moda lp 2’s and there suposed to be better so not rite sure!
I highly doubt the v-moda’s come close, they are aimed more at people who care more about how their headphones look than the sound quality. I’m sure they are good headphones, but they are a consumer product.
Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO. They’re really durable, superior perfomance and loud as hell if needed. Go for it.
im feelin my new xone xd53s.
ok thanks think am gonaa go for the v moda’s or the sennheiser hd 25 ii not sure yet though
Not true at all. I have both the Sennheiser HD25-1 II and the V-moda Crossfade LP, and I love both. Very different sounds, but the v-moda’s quality surpasses anything else on the market IMO. The Sennheisers are lightweight, user-servicable, and accurately flat (in a good way)… and the v-modas, are comfortable, stylish, and incredibly powerful and accurate. The v-modas are MUCH stronger in the low end… to the point that they shake your head. Seriously. They actually have better isolation than the Sennheisers and they are better for use in large clubs IMO. The only downside is they are difficult to use as single ear monitors… you have to tuck one ear cup behind an ear to do so. Best thing to do is listen to them and see. I’ve had mine for over a year, and they look and sound like new.
sennheiser hd25-1 II
Reloop rhp-20’s. I like the way they swivel from front to back. Comfortable, with a detachable cable. Only had them for a month so not too sure about durability yet.
I actually just recieved the V-Moda LP2’s about a week ago off of their website. I ordered them on the 1st of Feb (ETA ship date 1-5 days) and I didnt recieve them untill 3 1/2 weeks later. I had to keep following up with them for the status of my headphones, They later told me that they were out of stock thus the delay of my headphones (they should at least display that the headphones are on backstock when i ordered them on their website), It was getting quite annoying with the process of actually getting my headphones.
Anyways about the quality of the headphones, they have an extremely solid build & look great! Now for the sound, As a guy that LOVES bass these headphones are way too bassy & they overpower the mid and highs. I honestly think the highs could be better, Overall these headphones sound good and are Ok. I was expecting to swear by these and for these to sound better though.
I recently also got the Audio Technica ATH-M50 a couple days before I got the V-modas (part of my kit for my audio prodcution class) and these headphones sound BETTER than the V-modas (was not expecting that). Sure they might not look as stylish but these headphones are nice and balanced. The lows, mids and highs. As I said before I love bass and these give you REALLY good bass while at the same time giving you good mids and crisp highs. They run about $159 on Amazon.
Hope this helped you!
I’m just assuming about the sound quality due to the ammount of product placement I’ve seen for them. I’m a person who likes to hear music how it is supposed to sound, so exaggerated low end isn’t exactly what I would consider a good feature. especially if it ‘shakes your head’.
