I’ll be going to New York for Saint Patrick’s week (14th - 20th march)
and i plan on picking up an S2 as ill save 100 euro buying it over there
and the offer until the 31st of march is too good to pass up…
so i was just wondering were do i go to pick one up and whats the best store to just browse around in ?
Pretty big and reputable. Decent prices too. I would imagine there are plenty of ‘mom and pop’ type shops buried in Brooklyn too that someone could point you towards.
Turntable Lab is fun if you want to browse and buy vinyl and is a cool super tiny shop to see for the novelty of it but they don’t have great prices or stock in much else I would actually buy there except maybe some little odds and ends.
Proaudiostar is where you want to go if you need to make any real purchases.
I heard there’s this guy who sells DJs out of his basement.
Sorry, er, I’ve only been to NY once, and at the time I never really thought about musical equipment. B&H Photo is the only one that comes to mind that I know is in NY and that also sells music stuff.
what About an Irish holiday ? i mean its saint paddys week an all,
i know its celebrated in a big way over there but i have no clue as to if the shtores close or not or how there road traffic is effected with the preperations before/during/after the parade day saturday 17th march?
id be planning to buy it on thursday the 15th or maybe friday the 16th march, will there be any restrictions in how to get about the city or with stores not been open on these days ?
or do i really need to look at the parade route and find out what stores are (if any) along it ?
There is an electronics store on 7th Ave and 35/36th St area that has a lot of DJ stuff in the window. It looked like they had a decent selection. I have no clue what the name is.
