Current favorite label(s)?

Reeling feeling Low Steppa’s house-y stuff lately. Just wondering what some of your favorite labels/artists are right now.

I’m really into CUFF, Sleazy G, Incorrect, and LouLou Records at the moment.

You’re so g-house, bro.

There’s loads (my bank account can sing a sad story about that), for example Wild Oats (that K15 2x12" is huuuge), Eglo, Creme Organization, Nous, also lots of what’s happening in France at the moment (Hold Youth, Lazare Hoche, Dance Around 88, Point G., …). I could go on and on and on, I think. Damn music obsession

Edit: Oh, and I’m really into the old Nu Groove stuff, soooo brilliant.

no local labels like Or*s, Moon Harbor and alike?

Wow, haven’t heard any of these. Great stuff. Also really digging anything on Neovinyl Recordings.

Bits and pieces locally. Kann is nice obviously (but strangely I haven’t bought up any of their records yet), the last one on O*rs was cool (the Bodytalk one, still have to pick that up somehow), and I like the Panthera Krause records on Riotvan.

Keep an eye on the vinyl purchases thread, lots of great music to discover there

At the moment, yeah lol.

Am I the only one here that is still into Progressive and Bigroom?

In this thread, maybe. Definitely not in this forum.

Personally the Canadians are killing it right now, with
Mood Hut, Forbidden Planet, 1080p label wise, then artist wise Cloudface, Lrndcroy, Hashman Deejay, Pender Street Steppers and the rest of the Mood Hut Crew.

Then there’s labels like Berceuse Heroique, Nous, Lobster Theremin, Future Times, Opal Tapes, LIES, Giegling, Antinote, I could go on.

Artist wise for me, Terekke has been on amazing form, as well as Patricia, DK/45 ACP, Route 8

Basically there are a lot of good labels, artists about, looking forward to seeing what 2015 brings.

Lobster Theramin, FXHE, 89:Ghost, Blind Jacks Journey, Chiwax, Echospace, Fathers & Sons, Mahogani, Mojuba, My Love Is Underground, Pampa, Robsoul, Beef, Soul People, Studio Barnhus, Ultra Knites, Workshop

Should mention an up-and-coming label getting some really good talent and putting out some nice stuff is artful division as well.

I’m loving Adapted these days for Glitch Hop!

Pretty standard but I absolutely love everything from
Bedrock, Lost & Found, Sudbeat.

Went through your list last night. Lots of strange stuff lol. I’m thinking it’s because of my musical pallet; so used to drops and whatnot. I liked what I heard on the Dance Around 88 soundcloud page. The Ringard stuff is excellent, although I couldn’t seem to find it for purchase anywhere. Also really liked the Nu Groove stuff. So much to listen to with that label on youtube. A bit overwhelming!

Turbo/Twin Turbo, LIES, CLR, Perc Trax, Monkeytown Records, Electric Deluxe

These guys summed up my thoughts pretty well.

On the techno/experimental tip Ilian Tape have really grabbed my attention. Their records definitely all have a ‘sound’ to them that is old school and analog and tough in some parts, but at the same time forward thinking, modern and euphoric. Really well produced interesting music. I’m really looking forward to the Zenker Brothers LP coming out this year.
