DJ, Music Selector or what?

Ok, I have been having a discussion with friends about what is a dj these days and I wanted to get some feed back from you guys/gals here on DTT.

Some one who uses a midi controller(s) only, no decks or cdjs, are they still considered dj’s?

DJ is some one who plays music for people. Always has, and always will.

I wouldn’t mind being referred to as a Selector. Or Selektah, if you prefer.
