Duplicating music folders in Traktor pro

Good day folks, I have tried several times have not had any luck so, my problem is.

I have a bunch of music folders in my extrernal HD, and I tried to import them into Traktor Pro. But, every time I do this it seperates not by folder but by genre types. In my external HD I have them set up just the way I need them, and in the folders I created which makes it easier for me to follow. But for some reason Traktor takes the genres rather then the names of the folders and arranges it that way. Is there any way I can copy them over into Traktor exactly as I have them in my external hd?

You could make playlists in iTunes out of those folders and then import the playlists. If you don’t use iTunes, just make new playlists in Traktor and add the files to those.
