ed paris setup

so i started out playing music on my famous panda keyboard mapped for traktor 3. after that i purchased a bcd3000 and a korg nanocontrol.
then i got myself some tt´s, a mixer, a vci100se and tsp1.
got tired of to much stuff in my room :slight_smile:
right now i´m only using my vci, my mixer and a midifighter (lent from hedgehog :slight_smile: ), my audio8. in the clubs i either go with the vci or with timecode cd´s.

nothing special as you can see below…

that vci crossfader looks seriously broken.. but i read in some other thread that you dont use it..

otherwise: nice setup.. are these white technics?

haha yeah, fader cap is broken and the crossfader was bent. my audio 8 fell on it :slight_smile: useless little thingy :slight_smile: (also if i´d ever going to use one, i´d use the crossfader on the mixer, since i´m mixing external)

those tt´s where white reloops. sold them. never used them.

Can I get a personal opinion on the BCD3000?

i had one and sold it to earl pandas friend eric some years ago.

was my first controller and is really nice to see if mixing suits you, cause it’s cheap and does the trick. after like half a year i was sure to continue djing and wanted to get a better controller, cause the bcd really feels cheap/plastic compared to other (more expensive) controllers..

well i used them for like a year or so, but i didn´t feel to comfy with them. some day, when i got some cash left i´ll get me some 1210´s. but right now i´m more than just fine with the vci and mf. and well i can always use the tt´s or cdj´s provided in most of the clubs i´m spinning at.

i gorgot to mention the maschine lying on my desk covered in trash and and collecting dust for months :smiley: not worth to take a picture though :wink:

Why is it collecting dust ? I’m thinking about picking up a Mk. 2 in december. + a free copy of massive of course

nope. just my daily reminder to keep it simple :wink: (it´ll protect me from RGASms that may come from time to time)

just wanted to share some new picture of my setup. still going strong with the vci100se+mf spectra combo. also in the picture:
maschine, korg km-402, audio8, überstand and mbp. not shown: headphones (forgot them in the office)
special appearance: fancy NGE-Desktop
