iOS 4.2 is available for download via iTunes, it went live earlier today and its time to update the OS on my iPad.
I am very excited about the core audio and core midi. Im still waiting to see what TouchOSC and DJay
iDJ app from Numark (aka MixMeister) is something Im going to get my hands on. I use MixMeister to make my mixtapes (cd giveaways). It would be awesome to put together little mixes together and be able to export them and upload to soundcloud/mixcloud
I checked yesterday morning, but it hadn’t come through yet. I’ll read some of the feedback and probably update later today. That iDj app looks cool, it didn’t say on the webpage if it worked on the iPhone or not.
Really looking forward to this too, I have completely turned around on iPad DJ apps from skeptical to 100% for it. My partner doesn’t know I’m going to be appropriating her iPad for DJing services as of… about now!
Updated last night. It’s cool to see some of the DJ apps can already tap into the iTunes library.
Also, the Numark app is great for that, Rumble. You can put music together and hear how it’s going to sound. But the app still runs pretty choppy. Don’t guess it matters as long as it works.
about the music bug…well it didnt affect me, cuz I didnt have music on my ipad until today. I like the iDJ app, but Im still waiting on the update from TouchOSC
Updated my iPhone 4. The new text tones are all freakishly long, but as one commenter said on some iPhone blog when your an IT guy and a server goes down at 3:00 am you may want those long text tones.
