Haters & Skrillex
So since his first EP, My Name Is Skrillex was released, Sonny Moore has been constantly hated on for producing, IMHO good music, which takes skill to produce.
Now I want to try and set the record straight. First of all, the people who say, “I hate Skrillex, he’s shit and his music is terrible!” First of all, you don’t know the guy, so you don’t know if he is shit. Second of all, you might think his music is terrible, but millions of others think it’s great. Therefore if you are someone who says the above, you are most probably jealous and/or a hipster.
Also, people say “All he does at a concert is press play. He’s not even a DJ!” Well guess what!? YOU’RE RIGHT! He isn’t even a DJ. He’s a producer, and people will pay good money just to go see him press play, jump around on stage and play his own music. Isn’t that what rock bands used to do?
