HDJ-500s
So i ordered these badboys and should be getting them by wednesday the 20th of october. Can’t wait to test them out, will detail my reaction with pics and a review of some sort. 
Please do. I’m seriously thinking about buying them. Hope they are good–don’t won’t to be tempted to throw another $100 for aiaiais or Sennheiser.

sorry, but i think these are going to be the most predictable headphones ever.
their just downsized versions of the hdj 2000. literally

Yeah you say that, but being Pioneers they must be good especially if they want to keep their reputation. Also at $100 they are at a great price. I think if they downsized versions of the 2000’s they should still be great cans. They have very good specs, so they shouldnt let many down. I’m looking forward to hearing the full reviews.
i think you misunderstood. i was saying they will be EXACTLY like the 2000 in terms of sound, but smaller in physical size

Well, here it goes…these things are pretty sweet for the cost. Obviously havent had the time to play with them that much, but as i type I am listening to the difference between my old p.o.s walmart headphones and these badboys, and i cant believe i ever wasted the money on the p.o.s’s. They are pretty dang comfortable, i can hardly tell any pressure on from the headband on my head, which is where i usually have the most problems. The headphones do seem to be pretty sturdy and durable. It comes with two cords, one coiled for the booth, and a basic cable for on the go listening. The jack into the headphones themselves have a tiny little metal lip to lock the cord into the headphones so you dont rip it out accidently. The sound is virtually the same as the 1000s in my opinion, cant tell a difference at all. For the beginner and at the cost i think these are perfect. Cant think of much else to comment on these, so if you got questions…ask! posting pics soon

Do they come with a carry pouch and are the foldable for storage ? Pics!!!
no carry pouch, and nope not foldable…guess these are the features that are cut out when you drop the price so low. the important thing is sound quality and comfort have not been compromised.

Nice dude! Its a pity about no carry case. I’m not to worried that they dont fold, mine dont do that either. Are thay worth the cash or maybe another $50 and get the HD 25’s?
well, I am happy with my purchase…based on all the great reviews i saw on the HD 25s im sure they are a good buy as well tho. these are definitely beginner/intermediate level dj headphones…i will say after more use now, i do wish they were a little better at isolation, its adequate im sure…but could be better
