For a more complete comparison you may want to include the Ultrasone brand of headphones as well.
Ultrasone PRO 750’s or PRO 900’s should be included in Producing.
Ultrasone DJ1’s and/or DJ1 PRO’s should be included in DJ Headphones.

will do, ill have to check prices to make sure ive covereed a decent rang as well.
Im thinking testing them through a laptop and also through an ipod,
not sure if i should use a headphone amp or a better mp3 player like a cowon. perhaps at the end ill suggest getting an amp or better DAP

thinking of including this headphone amp if i can.

some of these headphones sound totally different when driven with a proper amp apparently.
Imo, a good pair of DJing headphones should not require an amp. It’s yet another piece of gear you have to carry around.

just received some monster jamz that im about ot review.
murtis - I’ve been looking into portable in ears for a bit, and a decent review of the following would be good
Jays q-jays or d-jays
Etymotic er6i or hf2
maybe diddybeats or somesuch as well?
Have you seen this Sam? It doesn’t have any of the specific ones you ask about though.
Aye, saw that.
The in ears are just for listening to my iPod at work, I use HD25 IIs to play out with.
I ended up getting the q-Jays - they were about £50 off from Amazon, get decent write ups and have a dual driver - seem to be OK at the mo, but apparently they improve after 20 or so hrs of breaking the drivers in.
