Have you tried other tsi files and they import ok ? Is it just ean’s file that fubars traktor ?

If it is, it could have been corrupted when downloaded. Try redownloading it and try again.

Let us know how you get on.

I had that problem: It turned out to be a font (of all things) that was crashing traktor.

This is the advice i was given from traktor:

From NI

i got some feedback from the developers now. They had a look to the logfiles
you sent and it seems that TraktorPro does crash because you have installed a
certain font on the system. The crashlog does not give further information
regarding the name of the font but you said that TraktorPro did work fine
before the first crash happened. So it should be possible to isolate the
problem font by searching the Fonts folder here.

Macintosh HD/Library/Fonts.

In my opinion you just need to search for a font which comes with a creation
date around the date you got the first Traktor crash.

Please keep me informed.

Did that actually work for you. The removal of the font solved the issue?
Thats good to know. I have never heard of that.

Yeah it did!!! I couldn’t believe it. I remember you did a lot to help me get noticed at NI too Karlos mate so I appreciate that. And thanks again

Yeah, deleted my last few fonts i installed and boom - Traktor Pro back up and running!

Not sure it’s the same problem this guy has but it’s worth a shot

Ah right cool. Only too glad to help.

Its a strange thing to crash Traktor though a font..!
Traktor can so bloody temperamental .

Hey guys,

I just ran into the same problem with a Japanese laptop. I had recently changed the system language from English to Japanese, which of course changes the system font. However, since no fonts had been recently installed, I found that simply copying the system fonts folder from an “uninfected” mac will fix it! Hope this helps someone else in the future if they stumble into this problem again…

Anyone know if this has been fixed or will be fixed in a future release? It creates a helluva problem for Japanese users… >__<

Wondering if NI is ever going address this. Anyone know?
