How To Remove Sticky Residue?
I recently took my 12inchskinz overlay off my S4 and it left a whole bunch of shitty goo all over everywhere. How can I get it off?
NVM, carefully tried some alcohol. Worked like a charm.
I was away to suggest some spirit/label remover/IPA. Many different things could work.
Did the buyer as for you to remove the skin? If you use the alcohol it would probably be a good idea to wipe the area down with a damp rag to get rid of any residue quickly. Alcohol could possibly dull the glossy surface.
So what’s your new hobby?
I used some nails solvent (whatever the correct word in english is), just be careful with painted surface/letterings.
Like finger nail polish remover? I would probably stay away from that especially on glossy surfaces. I don’t have any basis for that other than it smells much stronger than alcohol so in my mind I equate that with being a stronger solvent which in turn could maybe damage the surface more.

As it turns out I was wrong. Nail polish remover or methylated spirits should work on the s4. Like people have said just go sparingly and wipe with a damp cloth afterwards.

Yup! I was the buyer, ripped me off, but I still got my money! Ripped off and the guy is ignorant, guaranteed if I wouldn’t of found this sketchy, and sent the money, he would of ran off!

I apologize, but I’m not going to. Even though he never paid & left horrible feedback, ruined my rep a little, I won’t. I don’t really care anymore. All I know is that I have my S4 & I’ll be keeping it for now. As a matter of fact I got asked yesterday to play at a college frat & student organizations dinner next week so it’s good I didn’t sell.
