I finally understand what the Pioneer RMX1000 is for.
OK, now I get it. Watch this video and see who the RMX-1000 was designed for:

Good to see a demonstration that isn’t hugely edited with some “big name” dj just twiddling knobs. Looks like a decent little piece of gear to be fair.
I’m convinced - just sort that fuckin’ price out!!!
As i suspected - a quite useful tool!
or.. i could use traktor and my midifighter!
wouldn’t be sad if the clubs picked them up although, they seem to be pretty easy to learn and work around like most pioneer gear.
Ebay will be your friend here. But yes they’re asking way to much for their EFX/Remix units. Get real.
wow now thats a proper demo
1k for FX! OUCH!!!
But that is quite a cool tool. Seaman needed a bib, dude was drooling. Fun to watch a pro’s gears whirr as they’re thinking “I can do this, and that, AND that…”
I love the djsounds videos they are nice.I loved the product that this makes me go in the business of remixing ![]()
Pretty dope actually, just have to wait for them to pop up on the eBay’s now
they’ve made a few of these videos now with a few different Djs. personally I think the price is fair
I think I want one
Also like this one for the old skool heads. That isolator is wicked. Beauty of this thing is you can take it to gigs and use the send return that most mixers have.
Anyway to map traktor to do the “release” effect they demo?
I’ll pick one up when it hit 600-700 bucks. Hopefully after a while they will go used or whatever. Looks like a great tool honestly though. I really want one. I mean I feel like I could grab a DJM 800 and this, instead of a 900.
just wow !!
Damn thiese videos make the RMX so much more appealing, I agree with guilty blade, an 800 + this might be a better purchase than a 900 for me.
Seriously cost about the same damn thing. You can find a used 800 for under 1000 bucks or so, like 800 bucks, if this thing comes out with a street price of 800-900 I might go that route. Makes wayyyy more sense then spending 1500-1800 for a djm 900 street price.
I was brutally dismissive form watching all of the previous video’s released. Too gimmicky. I’m still apprehensive regarding it. Traktor can do most of this with the correct setup of controller’s.
But I can definitely see the appeal of it now, Pioneer’s marketing department need’s a review I think.
But still 'Dang…; the price is too expensive.
Totally, and the fact that you could bring this with you to gigs and be comfortable with the effects no matter what the mixer. It makes more sense than getting a 900 and then going to a gig with like a 700 or something and you don’t have the color effects you were used to. And the freakin isolator!
I know! Bring that thing with you and you have all the effects you are use to. Then you can literally use any mixer for the most part…
