Love the look of this little thing, there is a few things i would choose (or keep) the 1000 over this for though! Wonder how much it will be..
Yeh - I don’t think Ill be getting it either just as I’ve got my 1000, but it’s nice they’ve made a (I’m guessing?) lower price unit and love to have a go with one.

Not being able to tune the Release FX speed and other stuff with the SD card is a negative point for me, but it does look very cool overall.
This is Pioneers usual trickery to get people with the money for the RMX1000 but don’t want to spend it into thinking they need the RMX1000 instead of the smaller version. Always on top with their marketing.
Exacly, I love the Release FX trigger on the RMX-1000… making it a no-tunable-boring-button made me sad

Pressing Shift+Release on the 500 adjusts the release FX length. Is that what you want?
No, I want a 3-stage trigger with separate tunning for each stage.

I’m considering running the RMX-1000 and RMX-500 in line with each other. $_$

I think the ultimate setup would be 2 RMX-500s for the CDJs and a RMX-1000 for the master output

I was thinking that same thing during the demo vid! That seems a little overkill but I could see some really creative stuff coming from it.
