I need to find “darker” electro/house music
I’m trying to find more electro/house music like Drop Down by Designer Drugs
Whenever I search for stuff like “top rave songs” though, most of the recommendations are really happy sounding cheesy stuff. Anyone able to offer suggestions on stuff with a more noisy and dark-ish approach? I’m thinking more of stuff that’s good for dancing to, by the way.
C’Mon by Tiesto also somewhat has this noise and darker style to it

Anything from le castle vania generally has a pretty dark drop to it as well, ESPECIALLY this song. Oh god, it’s so good

The Felix Cartal song I might use, and the Les Petits Pilous stuff is really close to what I’m looking for for the show as well. Perhaps what I’m looking for would be better described as having the dynamics and energy of house or club music, but more noisy. Satisfaction by Benny Benassi (particularly the main synth/bass line) is another example of what I’m thinking.
