Is this the new Richie Hawtin/Allen & Heath Play Different mixer???
I was just at Exchange in LA to see him play, didn’t get a look at it there, but they posted this image on the essential mix page… can’t see much, but it’s definitely 6 channels, no crossfader.
Yes, but it’s not Allen & Heath. The company of Andy Rigby-Jones, the guy that created the Xone line, is working with Hawtin on this.
If thats not what they are working on then what is it?
I had heard the same but it was being reported as being an Allen & Heath product

From what I read it’s with the parent company of Allen and Heath so it looks like RH own line of DJ products. First one looks to be a 6 channel mixer

Keen to see more about this, although I find it interesting that you can clearly see that Richie is still using his RME FireFace UFX … I’d hope that it would have a reliable soundcard on board …

Personally I’d prefer a modular approach, keeping the mixer analog is good IMO, otherwise you’d be lugging mixers around to every gig
