Midi controllers with faders for Live 9

Hey all, I’m in the market to get myself a midi controller to get me into more of a hands on approach to mixing/mastering my productions…I know of some of the more popular toys like the APC40 and APC20, and the BCF2000 by Behringer.. But that’s about it… I want to get something that’s not very expensive to start me off so if anyone can think of any other kinds then I would appreciate suggestions!

  • I’m really only concerned with faders, pads and knobs are irrelevant to me.

UC-33e. Just 9 faders, and 24 knobs (3 per channel/fader), a numpad that transmits midi (+ transport).

I can’t believe it’s never been updated. Awesome if you’re using Ableton Live.

There’s an APC20 on Ebay for 40 bucks I think I’m going to bite the bullet…

I spend more then that to get to work and home every day lol.

I used to use the APC40 , borrowed it from a friend and really liked the way it integrated into my music productions.
Can see the APC20 being perfectly fine. I found the 40 to be a bit too big for what I needed.

For 40 bucks I would just cop that 20.
