New Sennheiser DJ headphones

New Sennheiser DJ headphones

lil intro vid

lil update:
I pretty much figured they were going to be more for dj/producers that are on the go a lot and need something good, and he kind of talks about it in the vid below.
the specs on them were pointing toward more of a hifi type of dj headphones.

1:11 min he starts talking about them

why blue. WHY BLUE :disappointed:

I lik eth elook of them. They look COMFY!

They wanted to improve on the hd25s, not realizing that what they are famous for is not how comfy they are, but just how light and flexible they are. Headband on these guys is HUGE.
Hd25s are here to stay.

Think I’ll be buying the 8’s…

i’ll go with the 7’s only because it looks like the earcup flips all the way around.

Not keen on the design at all, and the blue, no.

$389 for the HD 8 DJ

Nothing wrong with blue, but I don’t think they are easy to use for DJ-ing. They are just too big and heavy for that.

wtf?

AAnd they jumped on the beats bandwagon

That is sickening.

I think the Hd8 is supposed to be more bassy than the HD 7 but he says otherwise

PS, theses headphones kind of remind me of the technics rp dj1200

Those 8’s look bloody lovely.

But I ain’t paying that kind of money for headphones…

They still don’t look as professional as the HD-25’s, and I doubt they’re as good, although Sennheiser do have a high standard. But the HD-25’s do everything a DJ headphone needs to do apart from fold, why fix what isn’t broken?

Oh yeah, consumerism.

They’re all circumnaural, so they’re not really at all comparable to the on-ear 25s.

Engadget has a hands-on.
