other controller conflicts with z2?

I have a z2 and a launchpad hooked up to traktor. I’ve built a mapping for the launchpad such that I have 4 buttons, each assigned to toggle the ‘cue’ button for each deck (the one with the headphones icon). When I just have the launchpad connected, they work great. They toggle the button on screen, and light up to reflect the state of the button. But when I connect the z2, they stop working altogether. I don’t have any custom mapping going on with the z2. The launchpad is plugged into the usb port on the back of the z2. I haven’t tried connecting them both directly to the laptop, but I doubt this will make any difference. Anyone have any idea what’s going on here?

When connected to the Traktor the Z2 will disengage function of the monitor cue in Traktor and switch cue to the hardware.

Weird. I wonder why it’s like that. It only affects decks a and b. If I use the cue buttons for either of those decks on the z2, my leds light up on the launchpad. I just can’t toggle via the launchpad. Decks c and d seem to work just fine.
