i hope i sound like a rich jerk in saying: i’ve happily paid $76 AU for pretty waveforms. 
maybe i’ll use the sample decks… MAYBE
yeah i know, but im sure half of the people who have come on here and slagged it off have barely used it or tried it properly. To me you cant judge something from a 30 min mess around on it, surely you have to use it for a good few weeks before you can properly review it.
I heard the Xone mixer emulation was left out of the S4 software. Is it back for T2 ?
Also are there any new mixer emulation types or the same old ? (p600,nuo etc.. )
Also have NI released a mapping for the X1 like whats shown on the Promo video’s where X1 controls sample decks, loop recorder ?
Yeah, but you can use it for another 30 minutes affter it shut down) It’s a great software but still can be improved.
It was made abundantly clear what the new features were.
Anyone who is surprised at what they got ought to do a little more reading before they make a purchase.

There’s one in the mapping library that comes with TP2, and there’s a pdf to go with it. I tried it but didn’t like it, I’m making my own. Sample decks alread mapped and playing

I thought this upgrade would include a feature to scan the internet for my favorite tunes, download them & beatgrid them. What happened to that? And where’s the automix & autoselect buttons? I’ve got too many cool moves and fist pumps to do when I’m DJing, I don’t have the time to actually mix the stuff too. WTF? So bummed with NI.

The automix button is next to the fullscreen button. NEVER USE IT.
I feel quite lonely in the opinion that the coloured waveforms are actually a big practical step forward. The resolution is vastly improved, and the colours (apart from looking pretty) are really useful in determining a track’s structure and levels.
For example, I spent a lot of time yesterday and today reorganising and cueing my dubstep collection, some of which was songs I’d picked up in compilations, and from the stripe i can instantly tell what sort of a song it’ll be. Clue: Lots of red and pink (in spectrum mode) means BASSSS, like this:
To be fair the track name gave it away as well lol.
in the above video around the 2.30 onwards.. This must be an official mapping from NI with LED feedback etc.. ?
Also the mapping isn’t in midi mode (no green light) therefore if i were to use such a mapping it’d mean I cant use the X1 to control FX units 3&4 and decks C&D .
