What/who is a demo?
If anyone has yet to see it, here is a pic of the colored waveform goodness.
Also I can verify that the spamming of lights is fixed with my launchpad. The lights are going bazerk (good thing) and I added a LED Master level thingie on the right that does not lag like it used to.
am i being stupid, or can you longer set a stopped deck to master? completely screws the way i do tempo changes if this is the case 
got other tricks, but it’s the principle dammit!! 
also has anyone else found that tempo bending only moves up/down by 2bpm, no longer can be spun to 100% up or down? means my fun with micro loops and gater might have to stop to…
How do I use traktor as external fx send&return unit? I have Audio 8 and set in’s and out to send & return. The loop record is using it but no luck with fx.
Just had a look and I think you’re right, it automatically resets to clock master when both decks are stopped, that could be annoying! And yeh, I sometimes used the pitch bend like turning off a deck for a slow wind down, doesn’t look like that’s possible any more unless that’s a bit of the manual I haven’t read yet.
You need to set the ins and outs in audio preferences and set an FX bank to SEND as opposed to insert I believe. Haven’t tried it, I’ve got no external sources here to apply FX to.

Traktor2 = Lame, its just a update
Is it me ? The only new thing is the waveform, sample decks and a couple of FX.
They should name it Traktor 1.3 (-_-)’
They even dropt the volume faders on C & D @ Internal mixer mode.
And the sample decks ? I just put 8 Hotcue’s on a track for some real sample juggling.

These posts will never ceases to amaze me. In my eyes it’s a major revamp and worthy of a paid purchase.
It’s early and I was up late so I’m a little foggy, but I think that’s the way it is in S4 Brad and Jon.

No matter how easy you may THINK it was to implement these features I assure it wasn’t it. Besides it’s really a moot point complaining about something you have no control over anyway.
Oh, and colored wave forms are a MAJOR upgrade.

Volume faders are not dropped. try another layout.
The most requested Traktor feature ever = Sampler.
Just because ‘you’ may not want a sampler does not mean that it isnt a huge step forward.
Maybe try to be a bit more objective?
Traktor 2 has many improvments but still no vst support and they didn’t improve midi mapping function. Tape delay is a real disappointment for me.
wonders why people bother upgrading when all they do is find fault with it and not look at all the excellent added features they have given us. Like someone else said above, if you dont like it dont buy it, its really that simple lol
