What does Bill Frist have to do with anything?

I hope this is true.

what does turd have to do with your reply?

on a more serious note: as anticipated, it appears to be a pure bug-fix release. probably not such a bad thing given the considerable number of known issues in 2.1.1. testing 2.1.2 now.

What does TAP mean exactly?

tap, tap

it seems 2.1.2 installs the 3.0.0 driver for the S4, not 3.0.2. interesting

You are supposed to copy files from previous installation when prompted right?

yeah

im a bit concerned about updating as i play out 4 nights a week now, i still run 2.0.3 simply because i have no issues with it, do you think this update going to be stable and reliable enough? previously i have tried to stay one behind, ie: i would normally now install 2.1.1 as the glitches are normally out by this point. what do you guys reckon?

cheers

Seems like it would make sense to stick with whatever you know to be completely stable with your setup. Especially if there are no new features that you absolutely need in either of the updates. No reason to create an unnecessary risk of a crash. Play around with the update next week after the 4 gigs.

It installs side-by-side with 2.0.3 so you can revert

brilliant! so i will just have both programmes installed? literally the only feature i need/want is the new timecode really, but tbh theyre not even that important. ill install and give it a blast, if it fails ill get rid and go back. cheers.

That X1 bug was a bitch.

Hopefully this can help alleviate the issue where the pitch fader goes way up/down when switching tracks w/timecode some of us were discussing in another thread this week. I’ll enable “reset deck controls” right away…

Looking forward to testing those as soon as I get my A8DJ back. I experienced the first bug and it was kinda nasty how traktor kept adding extra minutes of offset :0
Curious about how the fallback is supposed to work.

It jumps back to your soundcard when you unplug your NI card.

Right. So it really didn’t work before then. :stuck_out_tongue:

2.1.1 broke it, it worked fine on previous versions.

You know that doesn’t work, right?

It doesn’t matter if you install 2.1.1 the day it comes out or the day 3.0 is eventually released…it’s still the same code.

That’s kind of the entire point of version numbers.
