Still no fix for the weaker filter since 1.2.7
I always increase the mid EQ when using the filter to get a better sound.
I’ll have to try that out. Don’t know why it never occurred to me before.
I haven’t updated in a loooong while. I think this is the one I’ve been waiting for. Hopefully, this is bug free for the most part.
This is more than a minor update, it should be traktor 2.6

am i the only one that trips that traktor 2.5 came during Traktor Studio DJ era, this Pro thing just threw me off.
Still no USB3 drivers? Good thing Serato works.
… in the same boat here. Let’s hope this release is solid.
I thought my channel clip led’s were acting a bit strange…
you shouldnt have to though…ive had a ticket with NI about this since 2.0.1 and even sent them an actual comparison. i’ll stick to the filters on my nexus
I only trust my xone 92 filter it sounds more natural!!!
My biggest gripes so far had been these:
REMIX DECKS:
New preference option for Remix Decks “One-Shot Samples Ignore Quantize Mode”
Dragging a sample on waveform of sample deck now replaces the sample
***Fixed prelistening of Remix Decks **
TRAKTOR KONTROL F1:
New preference option to swap F1 Mute and Stop behavior
I really want them to fix the pre listening of remix decks..I couldn’t prelisten to all 4 slots at once in intern mixing mode. Looks like a bug that was not super widespread, but I noticed a forum on the NI website with a few others having the same issue.
Also, I am glad that the Stop and Mute functionality can be swapped on the F1…that was driving me nuts!
Selecting a different filter type (Xone…) doesn’t fix it for you?
I am guessing he wants more resonance, rather then the clear cut Xone filter.
That is a pretty significant upgrade. When they say you can see the waveforms on the display does that mean they’d scroll like Traktors? Or does it just read out the whole waveform?
"TRACK DECKS:

Synchronization no longer ignores second and following grid markers "
OOOOOOOOOOOOOH YEAH
Good improvements, but I’m still trying figure out why I need Remix decks when I don’t even use the Sample decks.
I’m still trying to figure out why I need a 4th deck when I don’t even use the 3rd. See what I did there?
Yeah, except I actually use three decks and on occasions four decks.
Well if the other improvments are needed for how you use Traktor then is all good. Traktor has 32 FX do I use all of them? No. Traktor has 8 hotcues per song. Do I use all of them? No not in every song anyway. Is the rest of the software good for what I need for DJ’ing? Yes. So I only use parts of the software and yes I use the remix decks sometimes.
Would be stupid not to upgrate if it’s better then the version you are using just because you won’t be useing everything in it.
I don’t know the mapping of all kinds of controllers and Traktor but in S4 it’s dead-easy to save and start a loop from existing playing material for the sample decks, can’t be easier.
