if i where u id install windows 7 on that machine only cause most of the dj/production software isn’t optimized for it yet
that and ps i can get a hp envy 17 with a newer/more powerful i7 with 12gb of ram and a 1tb drive plus a 1gb NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M
for only about $900 id slash the price cause if you dont it will just be collecting dust just saying
Where can you get an HP Envy with that stuff for 900? If you can find a better laptop for 900 then throw me an offer with a link of another comparable computer. The price is negotiable, but I don’t think there’s anything else this power at this price point.
Aside from the spare battery and 7400 RPM HD .. My dell 15R Special Edition is better spec’d (IMO) or just as good.
3rd Gen Intel® Core™ i7-3632QM processor (6MB cache, up to 3.2Ghz)
Windows 8, 64-bit, English
8GB3 Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz (max 16)
1TB 5400RPM SATA HDD + 32GB mSATA SSD w/Intel Smart Response (can be replaced with bigger mSata)
Blu-ray Disc (BD) Combo (Reads BD and Writes to DVD/CD)
Radeon™ HD 7730M 2GB (dedicated card)
backlit keyboard and full 1080P
I love this machine. Sure it is ugly, but for the price it is pretty sexy. Both Serato and TP2 work flawlessly.
