There was talks about it, but there were some issues regarding the origins of the Maven, that were presumed to “not be allowed for commercial goals” or something.
He did switch to a Korg Zero8, which he seemed to like as much as the Maven.
(He did try the UC33e, but he discarded it for being a flimsy controller.

Dream is no more a dream once you managed to get it…
Used to drool over the top of the line Pioneer gears when i started djing in the past, managed to get DJM800 though…imo it’s a bit ehh in terms of overall quality, sound & built.
Now switched to the synth, production & performing side…half a year in 2011 dumping all my bonus money on a Roland Fantom G6, since it’s the only model i can get at that time. but i’m aiming for at least G7 (76 keys) or G8 (piano action). it makes the synth drool worthy at least since i cannot get it.
Currently on the look for the perfect VA synth to go with my FG6, if only Virus is easily available..otherwise i’ll wait for Jupiter-60 (if ever get released) or a new generation V-Synth. I believe if i can afford a G6 in the 1st place then of course i can afford another flagship synth to complement the setup!
If i ever come back to djing of course the next would be the top of the line CDJ-2000 & add another 1210mk2 (this is rare, people seldom sell TTs in my country) to my rig.

Realistically though I would probably do away with traktor for the most part if I got CDJ-2000s. And just have a DB4 and two CDJ-2000s as my primary setup. 4 CDJ-2000s and a DB4 is really my dream setup though. Not that I would need all 4 CDJ-2000s, it would just be cool to have them. I would give record box a try and if I did use DVS as long as Traktor doesn’t certify the DB4 or offer advanced HID I would consider Serato with an SL4 and 4 CDJ-2000s in advanced HID mode, that would be pretty sick unless record box improves and offers a 4 stacked waveform view like SSL.

My dream set up is one that allows me to spin timecode, AND sync to ableton live for sampling/looping/using VSTs & beat sync’d fx.
I’ve had a little success using the midi out from my DDM4K - but it drifts A LOT, and is only suitable for quickly mixing between decks and Ableton Live.

Also, I would want a top of the line speaker system for home use, something that would rival a club . I don’t know enough about speakers yet, but this is something I’m actively looking into for future investment, and will honestly probably be my next investment.
