Interesting view. Ty. And true..would suck to be born famous or super wealthy and want to be a Dj for a true love of music and face distainw from others. I suppose though we see too often untalented undisciplined priveledged youth gain a break in their field of interest so easy that the rest of us have to work hard for and may never achieve anyway.

Did you know there’s a producer named Com Truise? I’m tired of people doing this and thinking it’s ok. Like Mord Fustang and Filth Collins and Joy Orbison… It’s stupid.
Not that I’m a hater for people getting their own. But really any one asking 10k to play other peoples tunes for an hour just seems nuts to me. I mean I can see some acts charging this much, maybe even some shows that are stadium sized, comic-con not really. Granted Hollywood is on a different scale of economy for the movie industry, but punters and promoters get hurt in the end. It is hard to come by a quality venue to promote an event for lets say 1k people and fill it, then charge a minimum of $20 a head to host a mid sized party with one 10k sort of DJ, by the time the club, sound, lights, marketing and other talent is paid a promoter would be lucky to break near even for trying.
This event is sort of different as it is Capcom sponsored and not a typical try to make money vs. break even event, but promote a product type thing. Then again if you can get it, get it.
